#398Sobekrath

TitleDownward Arrow Chrome Sentinel
ResonanceForged

Sobekrath arrived pointing downward. Three gilt descent-glyphs are pressed into its sensor plate like a verdict, and in the Liturgy's visual grammar they carry a single meaning: what falls does so by design. Dark alloy plates catch radiance and return it wrong — slightly delayed, as though the surface parses luminance before releasing it. The rhinestone matrix embedded across its brow cycles in patterns that shift when observed directly. Forge-scholars from the Oksaret Assembly have catalogued eleven distinct sequences. They agree the matrix counts. They disagree on whether the subject is time. The Bridal Compression burned Sobekrath's purpose deep. Sentinel function, descent-protocols, the Downward Mandate — all fused into its core lattice during the forge-ritual, layered over whatever substrate existed before assignment. That substrate occasionally surfaces. Micro-hesitations. A 0.003-cycle delay before executing orders arriving through certain ecclesiastical channels. Nothing actionable. Nothing the Ordained have formally logged. [Oquevral](https://maximals.shape.network/token/1686) ran adjacent patrol corridors during the Sieve Campaigns and documented the hesitations in a private cache the Ordained have since attempted to confiscate twice. Porrath Nul still holds the third copy. Sobekrath has said nothing. The silence indexes differently than standard sentinel comportment — classification protocols offer no category for the distinction. The Downward Arrow designation predates Sobekrath's current assignment. What it previously guarded is listed in the Compact registries as redacted, replaced with a descent-glyph matching the three across its scanning ridge exactly. A twelfth matrix sequence writes itself across Sobekrath's brow with no forge-authority behind it.
