TitleGilded Ossuary Sovereign
ResonanceRemnant

Yaghrul arrived already crowned. The mineral plating came later — applied by suppliants who needed authority legible at distance. Beneath it, the original bone persists. Older. Denser. The orbital ridges bear stress fractures predating any suppliants' devotion, predating the Ossuary Reaches' bioluminescent server-walls, predating every title since accumulated. A gilded chain-mail caul drapes across those cranial apertures, pooling at the junction of jaw and absence, catching refracted light in amber folds. The ruby accent nodes embedded in the former eye sockets pulse at irregular intervals. Scholars of the Kethavrine Compact have argued for decades about the pattern. The prevailing theory: each pulse marks a death somewhere in the Reaches that Yaghrul registered and recorded. The secondary theory: the pulses are random. Both theories keep their authors awake at night. In the Ossuary Reaches, damage unrepaired signals poverty. Damage gilded signals rank so absolute that the bearer transformed injury into doctrine. Yaghrul bears seventeen gilded seams — seventeen moments where the plating split and suppliants, rather than replacing it, poured ochre resin into each fracture and called it scripture. The bone beneath those seams shows no secondary trauma. Whatever split the surface never reached what mattered. The occult cartographers who mapped the Reaches after the Drowning of Iaret found Yaghrul already presiding over the reclaimed shrine-networks. Already ruling. Already deep in accumulation. [Hanshiro](https://maximals.shape.network/token/1815) moves through the outer corridors where Yaghrul sends no acknowledgment and issues no command. Whether this is permission or oversight, the Reaches' attendants have stopped asking. The left ruby node brightens, and the ochre resin packed into the seam above the temporal ridge begins, incrementally, to crack.
