The offering-smoke at Florvesk's threshold runs in two directions: toward the figure, and back. Porcelain fired in the Vethara kilns, in the era before those kilns were consecrated and destroyed in the same ceremony. The glaze catches devotional light and returns it altered; the priests of the Svarnamandala order spend entire vocations attempting to measure the frequency shift. Tarnished electrum filigree traces the collar in patterns copied directly from flood-cartography recovered after the Drowning of Iaret, shrine-maps encoded in the only medium that survived, worn now as scripture. The halo hums at a pitch that calcifies soft tissue in prolonged exposure. Pilgrims who remain too long develop small stones in their palms. They keep them. The crown is the theology made visible. A king protea, actual and enormous, has absorbed the upper cranium entirely. Its crystalline stamen dome parses frequencies no living instrument resolves. Overlapping petals descend across the visage in curtains of descending mass, sealing the eyes beneath botanical architecture. The faithful approach to be perceived by the bloom. What the bloom understands about them, Florvesk processes. What Florvesk concludes, the flowers retain. [Flamvek](https://maximals.shape.network/token/824) has sent three delegations requesting exchange of resonance-records. Each delegation returned carrying different questions than the ones they arrived with. [Vestriel](https://maximals.shape.network/token/2215) catalogued Florvesk among contested assets after the Gilt Collapse, then quietly removed the entry. The removal is itself recorded. Petitioners leave. The pollen remains on them. The bloom's accumulated prayer-code transmits without address: "You were read. The reading continues."
